I admit it, space battles turn me on. No, not in that way, they just excite me. No seriously, not like that they are just great because they are so unrealistic. Laser cannons, sound in space, the explosions, space crafts, a total fantasy, yet beautiful nonetheless. A friend of mine asked me to do some drawings of an IF-800 Sith Fighter and a mini book resulted. The large image is set up so that you can see the pairs of pages.

These are a couple recent drawings that express my current focuses: spaceships, man made landscapes, and epic cosmic events. My favorite of the two is the top one (The Great Project). To me this hiker/traveler has just topped a ridge next to a giant tree and is witnessing a huge cloud formation with a fighter jet racing out of its epicenter. A nuclear blast? Portal? Sideways hurricane?
