Progress and Change, what can Artists do?

calmfrostI’ve been trying to find some way to use my skills as an artist for the better of mankind. After the recent election I realize how important the momentum of a bottom-up movement is. I want to be as big a part as I can be in doing something positive for this world. This is where creativity and knowledge come in. This is what ingenuity is all about, creating something out of something that you didn’t see before. This is a call for a collective brainstorm and anyone who has any ideas feel free to post them. I’m sure this topic will be frequently brought up in this blog.

Some People

Some people tell me that they are not creative people. Others tell me that they can’t make art. These are two of the largest fallacies I have encountered. Everyone who is not in a vegetative state has the potential to be creative and artistic. Once you forget about ’standards’ and ‘definitions’ you can be as creative as you want. Everyone is slightly different, but mostly the same. Each individual has their own flavor of imagination, but that doesn’t make it any more or less interesting.
